Disclaimer, I’m not a certified art teacher, I’m a student who works as an assistant for a weekend art program through my school.
I was assigned to be a one on one for a blind student, she is in 5th grade if it makes a difference. I’m not entirely sure what projects the teacher will be doing, but as far as I know about the student is that she likes working with clay and play-dough types of stuff, so I assume I’ll be working on that if the project is one she doesn’t want to/can’t participate in. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience or advice, as I want to make sure she gets the best experience she could through the program, and I’m not entirely sure what direction to go in. If anyone has any ideas for extra projects as well I could do with her that would be great too. Thanks!
